We are True Brown Style - Not Terrorists
TBS13 is now one of the fastest-growing organizations in the Philippines, and as we celebrate our 31st year in 2025, we stand tall as the largest and most visible group in the country today. When it comes to members, we are counted in millions — not only in the Philippines but also around the world. In fact, there are an estimated 8.7 million TBS members globally, and the numbers keep growing.
We’re everywhere — maybe even in your own home. Step outside your door, and chances are, you’ll meet a TBS member. Turn on your TV, especially shows like "Batang Quiapo" — you're likely seeing TBS members on screen. Many of our members have become actors, appearing in both TV series and movies — some even award-winning.
We have rappers and artists who played a major role in helping FlipTop become the #1 rap battle platform in the country. When you listen to music, chances are, a TBS member is behind the mic — singing or rapping. In clubs, events, and parties, you’ll find TBS DJs, bouncers, and staff. We’re in banks, restaurants, malls, public transport, delivery services — everywhere. We have TBS vloggers, teachers, students, security personnel, even police officers and soldiers. We’re in hospitals as medical assistants, nurses, and doctors. And yes — even in the courtroom, because we now have lawyers who are proud TBS13 members. Many of our brothers and sisters are now successful entrepreneurs and business owners.
We say this not to brag, but to show that many TBS members have succeeded in life, breaking free from the past and choosing a better path.
We also encourage our members to join our sports fests, charity events etc..
TBS13 started as a street gang — that’s true. But that was then. Today, we are known for being one of the most disciplined and professional brotherhoods in the world. Some experts even compare us to global organizations like the Yakuza or the Mafia — not because we are criminal, but because of the strength, loyalty, and structure we share.
Important note: Our leaders are working hard to register TBS13 as a legitimate, global organization, with lawful and community-based goals. We do not and will never allow minors to become members. We also condemn fake groups or colorum claiming to be TBS — they destroy the values and honor we’ve worked so hard to build. Sadly, with our growth and influence, many are pretending to be part of us — we apologize for that, and we ask for your understanding. Still, we are actively working with communities to address these problems. More and more members of other gangs, fraternities, and organizations are joining TBS13, which is a positive sign of unity and transformation.
Our core teachings now include:
- Avoiding harmful vices
- Promoting respect and love for others, especially for family
- Believing in and honoring God
- Encouraging members to finish their education
- Helping them find honest work or start their own businesses
- Prioritizing members who have clear goals and dreams
Today, our “vices” are feeding programs, outreach events, and community service. Don’t judge us by how we dress — hip-hop culture is part of Filipino youth now. We may not wear barong or suits — especially under this tropical heat — but our attire is just fashion. We are not bad people. Our image is part of a culture we’ve embraced and grown into.
So we ask you to guide your children and students. If they’re interested in TBS13 and you can’t stop them, at least make sure they join the real, legitimate, and respectful TBS13.
Whether we like it or not, TBS13 is unstoppable. We’ve become a part of communities, culture, and even history.
They now call it the TBS13 Pandemic — a wave of purpose-driven unity spreading across generations. This is the brotherhood I will proudly pass on to my children, and I will whisper to them: "Pass it on to the next generation."
